Start Your Journey at Godstowe
A warm welcome from the Godstowe Admissions team. Every family’s journey is different, and choosing the right school is an important decision. Whether you are just beginning to explore or already considering Godstowe, our Admissions team is here to support you. We aim to make the admissions process welcoming, personal, and straightforward.
Step 1: Get in Touch
We would be delighted to welcome you to Godstowe and begin getting to know your family. The first step is simply to make an enquiry and connect with our Admissions team. You can submit an enquiry form here or call us on 01494 429006. We are always happy to answer your questions and help you explore whether Godstowe could be the right fit for your child.
Step 2: Visit Us
The best way to understand the spirit of Godstowe is to experience it for yourself. Families are invited to visit the school with their child, meet the Head, and enjoy a personal tour during a normal school day. You will have the opportunity to see lessons in action, meet pupils and staff, and get a genuine feel for daily life at Godstowe.
We also host regular Open Events throughout the year, which you are warmly invited to attend: Open Mornings
In addition, we are very happy to arrange a private visit at a time that suits you. For families based overseas, we would be pleased to arrange an online meeting instead.
Step 3: Next Steps
After your visit or conversation with us, we will continue to guide you in a way that feels right for your child and your circumstances. If you decide to proceed, you will be invited to complete our Registration and Acceptance Form, which formally secures your child’s place at the school.
Our approach is flexible and tailored. A taster visit or additional step may be suggested where helpful, but this is not required for every child. We adapt each journey to ensure it is supportive, appropriate, and gives us the best understanding of your child as an individual.
Godstowe has truly been an incredible experience for Ria. She joined in Form 2 at age 8 as a full-time boarder and had never been away from home. Just like her older sister Sarien, who was also at the school, from her time spent at Godstowe, Ria has blossomed into a confident, responsible, happy and kind young lady. The wonderful teaching and support staff helped her reach her full potential academically and harnessed her sporting skills and ability. We will always cherish the lifelong friendships made and the priceless memories of the years spent at one of the best Prep schools in the UK.
