Beginners delighted with new classroom
Beginners move into new Early Years building
Godstowe's latest development, a brand new Early Years building, was completed this summer. Two large, bright and airy classrooms now house the Beginners (Reception) classes, who have been making full use of their new space.
Each classroom features a quiet area, IT area with desktop computers, a kitchen unit, an interactive whiteboard and plenty of space for desks and storage. There is also an enclosed outside play area at the back of the classrooms.
With the Beginners now in their own building, there is more space for the Kindergarten and Transition classes in the main Lodge building. Over the summer holidays work was carried out to create a new art room, refurbish the library and classrooms, as well as creating new offices for the Head of Lodge, Mrs Wylie, and staff.
If you would like to see the Early Years building for yourself, as well as the rest of Godstowe, why not visit us on Open Day on Saturday 10th October? We'd be delighted to welcome you.
