Home and School

The relationship between parents and the school is vitally important. Formal communication is based on written reports throughout the year as well as grade cards in the Prep School. Regular parent/ teacher consultation evenings take place and informal contact between parents, class teacher/ tutor and Division Head is strongly encouraged. In addition, we communicate with parents via ParentMail - an innovative new email system, bringing an end to lost messages and missing forms.

The parents have formed the Friends of Godstowe which provides a wide range of social events for both parents and children. Parental expertise and involvement within school is always welcomed.

The Headteacher works closely with parents in offering advice on the most appropriate education for their child at the next stage of their educational development. A close relationship is fostered between home and school, since education, to be successful, depends on the mutual support and co-operation between these two parties.
