| 12 March 2010 | Snippets Volume 4 Issue 20Congratulations to everyone who has performed so well recently and in particular to our latest scholar, Anna Symons, who has been given an award to Marlborough College and brings our scholarship tally to 19.
Our netball and lacrosse teams are performing outstandingly well, winning regional matches and tournaments and culminating in the U12 Netball Team winning through to the National Finals at Roedean tomorrow – 7.15am start for one certain minibus driver! Well done to them all, and good luck. View PDF>

| 05 March 2010 | Snippets Volume 4 Issue 19Can’t stop to chat, I’m afraid – I’m off to the netball tournament in High Wycombe to watch our U12 & U13 girls do battle with other school in the area. The U11s were at it yesterday as well, so I’ll let you know how we got on next week! View PDF>

| 26 February 2010 | Snippets Volume 4 Issue 18Snippets is being prepared in a new office. I should first like to thank our maintenance staff for undertaking such an Herculean task during the course of half term and for setting such high standards in the quality of their work. Many of you will have noticed the new school office, waiting room and Headmaster’s study, and the library is about to be reopened. Please do take a look if you haven’t had the chance so far. | 12 February 2010 | Snippets Volume 4 Issue 17It seems our internal system crashed just at the same time as we were emailing Snippets last week – the result being that Snippets was not sent and we had no idea! Therefore, today’s Snippets is a combination of this week’s and last week’s news: View PDF>

| 05 February 2010 | Snippets Volume 4 Issue 16Snippets this week really does begin with some fun snippets!
1. Mrs Hutcherson has had a baby girl (Isabella).
2. Madame Labourdette has also had a baby girl (Amelie).
3. Mrs Kane will be having a baby boy or girl (probably not both) in the summer.
4. Rachel and Emily Kemp’s dog has had seven puppies (not certain if they’re all accounted for yet).
5. Mrs Sloggett has fallen over and broken her wrist roller skating! We hope she gets better soon.
Some scholarship news arrived this week – I will let you know all about it as soon as the girls themselves have been notified! View PDF>

| 29 January 2010 | Snippets Volume 4 Issue 15Good afternoon. Many thanks to all those children who have sent in photographs of the snow. I know it was my fault for asking, but I now have to look through over 200 photographs! There are some outstanding pictures and the winners will be announced next week. We will then publish some of the best snaps in a gallery on the website. We obviously have several budding photographers amongst us! I will also read through the final poems and give out certificates during assembly next week. View PDF>

| 22 January 2010 | Snippets Volume 4 Issue 14Good afternoon. Welcome to the end of another week. We have been very busy and some girls have been royally entertained with that ever-popular event known as an examination. They have been working very hard and I am sure that, so long as they have done their best, we will have sets of very pleasing and encouraging results. Also, now begins the merry-go-round of external examinations and my best wishes to all girls involved in the coming months. View PDF>

| 15 January 2010 | Snippets Volume 4 Issue 13I can’t remember seeing such a white-out for years. People who have lived around here for longer than me say that they’ve never experienced so much disruption in the High Wycombe area. Nevertheless, stalwarts as we are, we moved things forward as quickly as possible and cleared mountains of snow thanks to a huge working party and a JCB I managed to secure. All in all, we only closed for two days, although this week has been disrupted a lot. It seems many more drivers are having to use the main roads because all the side roads have been so treacherous. Thank you for your patience and support and we look forward to the rest of the term passing without further incident – fingers crossed. View PDF>
