| 01 December 2006 | Snippets Volume 1 Issue 11We all enjoyed a terrific gymnastics display in the JK Hall this week and it was good to see so many girls from different age groups working together. Once again, they seemed to be enjoying themselves so much. View PDF>

| 24 November 2006 | Snippets Volume 1 Issue 10I look forward very much to the Christmas Fayre tomorrow morning and I hope that I will see as many of you there as possible. This will be an opportunity for you to line up some Christmas presents for the family and to engage your brain in readiness for the holiday season, which is rapidly approaching. View PDF>

| 17 November 2006 | Snippets Volume 1 Issue 9I haven’t been around this week quite as much owing to various school visits which I have enjoyed and also a Prep School Heads’ Conference at Wellington College which was attended by no fewer than 220 delegates. It was fascinating to hear more of the current issues concerning the independent sector but there is enormous optimism and belief that what we as a sector provide, is of unquestioned quality. Today I am at Downe House where, as you know, the Headmistress is one of our Governors. I will report back. View PDF>

| 13 November 2006 | Snippets Volume 1 Issue 8By the time you read this week’s Snippets many of you will have enjoyed the Middles’ Production of Around the World in 80 Minutes. I would like to thank and congratulate everybody concerned with this thoroughly enjoyable event. It was quite clear that the girls had a great time on stage and now they deserve their weekend. | 30 October 2006 | Snippets Volume 1 Issue 6It doesn’t seem possible that half term is already upon us. It’s 8.10am and it’s still dark outside! Before you do anything else this half term, please wade through the paperwork we have kindly provided for your information. With any luck, reading these papers could occupy most of the week! | 13 October 2006 | Snippets Volume 1 Issue 5Half term rapidly approaches and it seems impossible that I have already been here six weeks! I am about to go to the Recital Hall to enjoy the Harvest Festival assembly presented by Lodge; may I thank you in advance for everything you have done in preparing gifts for this occasion. I look forward to the Main School Festival which takes place next week, and then also to the School Concert on Friday. | 06 October 2006 | Snippets Volume 1 Issue 4We all enjoyed wishing Lesley-Ann Kane a very fond, albeit temporary farewell in assembly last Friday, and our very good wishes go to her and her husband as the impending birth of their first child approaches. I should like to thank Lesley Ann for all of her very hard work this term when it must have been difficult waddling from place to place! Good luck to them both and I will no doubt have good news for you very soon. View PDF>

| 22 September 2006 | Snippets Volume 1 Issue 2Already two and a half weeks have passed by and I am delighted to say that the sun insists on shining. Everyone seems very well settled into the new term and I have met almost everybody now, it seems. The boarders are looking forward to their first Fixed Exeat of the year, which seems to have arrived very quickly indeed. View PDF>

| 15 September 2006 | Snippets Volume 1 Issue 1At last! After months of eager anticipation, we’re here. Cathy and I would like to thank all the staff, parents and pupils for their very enthusiastic and kind welcome. As you know, we are not only living on site but en-suite as well, in Dove House. It takes me 11 seconds to get to work in the mornings. View PDF>
