Breakfast and Supper Club

Godstowe endeavours to make the lives of busy parents as stress free as possible by offering flexible and friendly Breakfast and Supper Clubs to our pupils.

Boys and girls in our Nursery and Pre-prep can enjoy a healthy breakfast from 7.45am with cereal, toast and fresh fruit juice. Breakfast is served in the Nursery building, so surroundings will be familiar to our youngest pupils. Main School girls can join the boarders in the dining room from 7.30am for a hearty cooked breakfast with lots of choice. All children are carefully supervised until the school day begins. A charge of £4.30 per day is made for Nursery and Lodge pupils or £2.60 for Main School girls.

At the end of the school day, Nursery and Pre-prep children can enjoy Lodge Care Club, a supervised playtime, until 5.35pm. Care Club is offered completely free of charge and includes an afternoon sandwich and drink. Many boys and girls opt to try one of our extra-curricular activities during this time including judo, ballet and drama, for which a charge is made.

Main School girls can experience a wealth of Enrichment Curriculum activities in two after-school sessions. From 4.30pm - 5.30pm and 5.30pm - 6.30pm. (Please see the Enrichment Curriculum timetable). Except where an external instructor is necessary, the Enrichment Curriculum is offered completely free of charge and includes an afternoon snack and drink.

Once clubs have finished, Main School girls can join the boarders in the dining room for a delicious two-course cooked supper until 7.30pm. A charge of £3.60 per day is made.

Occasionally, Main School girls join their friends in the boarding house for a 'sleepover' if their parents are away on business, or pleasure! Parents may take advantage of this provision for a night, a weekend, or longer if necessary. The cost of an overnight stay is £34 and includes supper and breakfast.

Attendance at our Breakfast and Supper Clubs is totally flexible. However, for Nursery and Pre-prep pupils, we do ask for prior notice to ensure our strict care standards are adhered to in both the Breakfast Club and Lodge Care Club.
